ART 311 - Photographing the Landscape of Greece

An immersive adventure through aesthetic and spiritual systems of ancient and modern Greece utilizing our cameras and eyes as the principle tools of engagement. Our formal class objective is to develop a nuanced appreciation of basic photographic principles in a global context. Our informal objective is more complex: to cultivate an authentic understanding of a cultural environment that produced some of the most enduring moral and aesthetic models of the Western world.
