EDUC 392 - Methods of Teaching Instrumental Music

This is a comprehensive course dealing with teaching instrumental music in the public schools. Topics include developing a philosophy of music education and establishing goals and objectives, content, sequence and presentation of instruction. Students discuss topics related to public school teaching, study of rehearsal techniques and peer teaching. A clinical experience is included.
