This course will examine the origins, anatomy, significance and legacy of the Arab-Israeli Conflict; it will focus on political, religious, economic, military, social, ideological, psychological and cultural factors that have shaped the conflict and address the resulting discourse about nationalism, conflict and peace, and identity. This course can also count toward the heritage and museum studies program, the global studies program, and the interfaith minor.
