MATH 402 - Senior Seminar

Required of all senior mathematics majors. Topics in mathematics history and mathematics are discussed using the seminar format. With the guidance of faculty members, each student researches a topic, delivers an oral presentation, and prepares a paper on that topic. The students will discuss and reflect on specifics of mathematical writing as well as professional and ethical issues in mathematics. This course counts as a capstone course for mathematics and education double majors only.
