First-Year Honors is an academic honors program for high-ability, highly motivated students who seek challenging and motivating courses to extend intellectual curiosity in new ways.

First-Year Honors participation is by invitation only and based on three factors: high school GPA, high school class rank, and ACT/SAT scores. If you qualify for the program, you will receive a letter of invitation and a registration form in the spring of your high school senior year.
