What is your dream job after college and how do you want to make an impact?

After graduating from Concordia College, I will be pursuing my master's degree in school counseling or school psychology so I can work in a school setting and make a difference in the lives of my students. Spreading positivity, love, and kindness is something that is important to me and something that I will focus on and share. My dream is to someday share my message on a larger platform as a motivational speaker. Concordia's unique experiences and opportunities are setting me up for success in my future endeavors.

What year are you here at Concordia?

I am a freshman here at Concordia planning to graduate a semester early in December 2023.

What are you involved in on campus? What kind of work do you want to be known for?

On campus, I am involved in Habitat for Humanity, Pinky Swear PACT, and the Outdoor Recreation Club (CORC). I also work at the Concordia Pool as a lifeguard. When it becomes safe, I will actively be participating in intramural sports.

What is your favorite Cobber tradition and why?

My favorite Cobber tradition is the "curse of the bell tower." I cannot wait to walk under it with someone special.

Tell us your favorite stop on tour and why it's your favorite. Why do you connect with the space?

My favorite stop on tour is the bell tower because I love to tell stories about it and it is a beautiful representation of Concordia.

Words of wisdom for prospective students?

My biggest piece of advice for prospective students is to be engaged in class and to participate in the office hours of your professors. They really are here to help you and they want to build a relationship with each and every Cobber.

Why did you choose Concordia? Was there a defining moment in your college search process?

After touring Concordia, I knew it was my college. Concordia gave me a sense of home and belonging. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and I already felt like a part of the Cobber family.

What does it mean to be a Cobber in one word?
