Concordia offers several scholarship opportunities for incoming transfer students — including the Transfer Excellence Scholarship, which is awarded upon admission.
Tip: Watch for scholarship deadlines and apply early so your scholarships get factored into your official financial aid offer.
We will build you a personalized financial aid package based on initial scholarships and your FAFSA. Visit fafsa.gov and use code 002346.
Plan to complete any scholarship applications prior to getting your Financial Aid award to maximize your aid offer.
Qualified students will be invited to participate in the CobberAssurance Loan Repayment Assistance Program to address the concern of repaying student loans after graduation. The CobberAssurance program covers all Federal Direct, Private Alternative Student Loans, and Parent PLUS loans taken out while at Concordia. Transfer students must have at least two years remaining to qualify.
Moving to deposited status secures your spot and gives you access to the remaining enrollment tasks below.
Claim your account and create a password so you can stay up to date with all of your next steps as a cobber. Your account information and instructions are also mailed to you after acceptance.
After you complete the above steps, you'll be able to submit a short form and can set up a time for advising and course registration with our Registrar's Office. Once the Pre-Registration Form is submitted, the Registrar's Office will reach out to you via email to set up a time to help you register via phone or video call.
Deposited students are eligible to sign up for advising and registration when their registration window opens.
You should plan to have access to a computer during your registration appointment.
If you plan to study the same language at Concordia as you did in high school or college, this allows us to place you in the appropriate class level.

Traditionally, all first- and second-year students are required to live in a residence hall on campus. Transfer students can plan to submit a housing exemption request should they wish to live off campus. Housing applications can be submitted via MyHousing.
This video-based program will provide crucial information about Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence, Stalking, and much more. This online training will help you better understand how important these issues are and what you can do to help make our campus safer.
If you've completed similar training at your transfer school, you may be able to be exempt if you can provide proof of completion. Ask your admission rep, Holly, for more information.
If you submitted any unofficial transcripts for admission, be sure to send updated official transcripts once final grades are posted, which allows your in-progress credits to be transferred.
From Anderson Commons to the Coffee Stop, you're sure to satisfy any craving. Dining Services plans are designed to offer flexibility and control with seven different plans, plus two options for adjusting your plan during the semester.
Upload a photo of yourself online for your Student ID card.
Immunization forms are mandatory and were mailed to your home address and are also available for download, as are required student-athlete forms.
Note: In January 2022, COVID-19 vaccines were added to the list of required vaccinations for all students.
After you've registered for your courses, stop by the Cobber Bookstore and purchase or rent your textbooks for the semester. Can't make it to campus? Order online and pick up your books when you get here.
Applications for parking permits will be available starting late summer.
Kick off your Cobber life at New Student Orientation planned specifically with transfer students in mind. During Orientation, new transfer students will become familiar with campus, academic life, student activities, and college procedures.
