Dr. Hannah K. Wilson

Assistant Professor, Nutrition and Dietetics; Coordinator, Combined Dietetic Internship/Master of Science in Nutrition Nutrition, Dietetics, and Exercise Science, Master of Science in Nutrition/Dietetic Internship

Dr. Hannah Wilson joined Concordia College in Fall 2021 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Exercise Science. Dr. Wilson is also a licensed, registered dietitian nutritionist and serves as the Coordinator of the Combined Dietetic Internship and Master of Science in Nutrition Program. 

Dr. Wilson graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, with an emphasis in Dietetics and minor in Chemistry, from Georgia Southern University. She then completed her Ph.D. in Foods and Nutrition and Dietetic Internship in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She holds a certificate in Obesity and Weight Management from the University of Georgia Graduate School.

Dr. Wilson’s research interests focus on the influence of lifestyle interventions and improvements in diet quality on chronic disease prevention. She teaches Nutrition, Life Cycle Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Management, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Clinical Experience, Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Applied Dietetic Practice I.

Dr. Wilson is originally from Dublin, Georgia, and now lives in Fargo, North Dakota. She enjoys skydiving and spending time with family, friends, and dogs.
