Established on 07.23.2013 by the Eleanor Jeske Charitable Trust
Eleanor Jeske was very involved in music through her church. She loved singing solos, singing duets with her husband, Russel, and singing in ensembles. Russell was a farmer until 1960, when he bought into the Mahnomen John Deere Implement. Concordia College is fortunate to have friends of the college like the Jeskes. They lived near Twin Valley, MN. Russell passed away in 1989 and Eleanor in 2012. Through their gifts, they will always be remembered. Russell and Eleanor gave to Concordia and the C-400 Club "not for honor but to help young people go to college."
The Russell and Eleanor Jeske Endowed Scholarship is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid. Selection is based on financial need and scholastic achievement.
