The Alfreda Sattre Torgerson and Norman L. Torgerson Endowed Awards in Journalism are awarded annually to the following students:
1.) The most valuable member of the Concordian staff
2.) The most valuable new member of the Concordian staff
3.) The Concordian writer who has demonstrated either exceptional insight or dedication.
