With nearly 30,000 students, Fargo-Moorhead is a booming college town growing by the day.
But what makes it so attractive to students? Here are just some of the reasons why I see Fargo-Moorhead as the perfect community for an excited young adult:
Safe & Fun
It has a safe community where theft and crime rates are low. Not only is nightlife possible but thriving with local sporting events, theatre, festivals and entertainment.
Diverse Dining
New independent and chain restaurants are popping up every season in Fargo-Moorhead, which means you can explore many different types of foods and see which ones you enjoy the most.
Local Parks
We have almost 20 local parks in the area, so whatever you like to do outside we will have a place for it. (Unless mountain climbing is what you’re looking for, then I would recommend visiting the highest natural point in Moorhead: Olin Hill. Olin Hill is a steep climb of roughly 30 seconds and is conveniently located on Concordia’s campus, no gear or previous hiking experience needed.)

The nice thing about having such a large student body in these two neighboring towns is that places throw student discounts at us! Food? Discount. Bowling? Discount. Clothing? Discount. Movies? Discount. What makes it better? Discounts … discounts make it better.
