Each year the MLK Day Planning Committee hosts an educational display on MLK Day for folks to walk through and reflect. In previous years, the committee has hosted "A Walk Through Institutional Oppression" focusing on themes such as mass incarceration, police brutality, and medical violence. This year, in alignment with our theme and call for Concordia to have honest reflections and conversations around our own voices and works, we will be hosting an educational exhibit of key Civil Rights moments paired with historical moments at Concordia College, as they relate to racial justice. The display will be hosted in the courtyard of the Knutson Campus Center atrium on MLK Day and will remain up for the rest of the week. This educational display would not be possible without the work of Concordia's Archives.
