The choir performs in major concerts on campus including the Concordia Christmas Concerts and sings regularly for campus chapel services. Each spring, the choir tours cities in the Upper Midwest and performs a collaborative concert with other Concordia ensembles.

Originally created to enrich the music of Concordia’s morning chapel services, the ensemble still sings regularly at chapel throughout the year. The choir is also an integral part of the much-loved Concordia Christmas Concerts.

Under the direction of Dr. Kira Knutson, rehearsals are 5-6:15 p.m Monday through Friday.

First-year tenors and basses are eligible to audition into Chapel Choir if they play in the Symphonic Band or Symphonia Orchestra due to scheduling conflicts with Kantorei.
