Dr. Danielle Gravon

Adjunct Instructor, Digital Design Art

Dr. Danielle Gravon, a 2010 graduate of Concordia, is a printmaker, bookmaker, and art historian. She recently earned her Ph.D. in art history from the University of Manchester, U.K., which examined the rise of biblical mapping during the Reformation image debates. Dr. Gravon approaches the study of maps from an art historical perspective because she believes that maps are not just scientific tools, but objects that provide a window onto the visual cultures of past societies.
