Recent Projects and Achievements:
Professor Steinwand's most recent publication is "What the Whales Would Tell Us: Cetacean Communication in Postcolonial Novels by Witi Ihimaera, Linda Hogan, Zakes Mda, and Amitav Ghosh." Currently he is working with two students to compile a global anthology of environmental justice poetry.
