Bringing back the comedy in a weighty story was the goal of Bill Russell, Concordia’s guest director for “Fiddler on the Roof” and a Tony-nominated playwright.

The English Department is one of Concordia’s longest existing academic departments.

Celebrated composer, conductor and educator Dr. René Clausen, conductor of The Concordia Choir for the past 31 years, received the Alumni Achievement Award from his alma mater, St. Olaf College, this fall.

Doug Brekke ’80 and Kristi Bummer ’87 were married in June in Scobey, Mont., with nearly 30 Cobbers in attendance.

Two Concordia graduates with close ties to recently released President John F. Kennedy assassination files are in the spotlight as they shed light on the files’ intrigue.

“We are one people. We are one family. We all live in the same house. The American house. The world house,” Rep. John Lewis said to the Concordia community and area high school students.
