First year business students planning concentrations in finance or economics are required to complete MATH 121 - Calculus. If students have not taken a pre-calculus course previously, they should enroll in MATH 110 - Pre-Calculus prior to taking MATH 121 as required.
Business students should consider enrolling in DATA 200 if they have an ACT score of 24+ or if they have taken college algebra or pre-calculus in high school.
First year business students will be enrolled in BUSN 399. This is not a class to attend, but rather a series of three (3) proficiency exams in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) that must be taken and passed by the end of the third semester of attendance.
